TIPS
Large picture files can take a long time to upload. They are re-sized during the upload
process to 720 x 400 pixels. This is a 1.8 to 1 ratio.
If the original Picture does not have similar proportions, the upload procedure will add black borders to the Picture to keep the proportions of the subject correct. If you can manipulate the picture before uploading to have these correct proportions, the results will be far more pleasing and if the pictures are made smaller they
will upload very much faster. They should not be made smaller than 720 X 400 pixels.
If you have a really spectacular picture it is well worth manipulating it to end up with a width to height ratio of 1.8 to 1.
Programs like Photoshop will normally enable you to do this very easily.
