Water   Salt water
Habitat Notes   Inhabits coral reefs and occurs in pairs or groups, usually near soft coral (Ref. 9710). Has never been imported although it can be easily maintained in a tank.
Depth Range   From 3 to 25 meters.
   
Distribution   Western Pacific and southeastern Indian Ocean: Malaysia Brunei and Indonesia, Palau, Philippines, Western Australia to Taiwan and Ryukyu Islands.
