Water   Brackish and Salt water
Habitat Notes   Found over soft substrates of of coastal waters and shallow bays. Generally forms schools. Juveniles are encountered in coastal lagoons and estuaries. Omnivorous. Also caught with long lines with hooks and encircling nets.
