Habitat Marine.        
Water Salt water
Habitat Notes Inhabits rocky bottoms, close to the shore, between 10 and 150 m, but also recorded at 760 m. Feeds on various small crustaceans and young fishes.
Depth Range From 10 to 760 meters.
