It is commonly known as Redband parrotfish but has many other common names such as redband parrotfish in USA (contiguous states), Redband parrotfish in Bahamas, Red-banded parrotfish in Barbados, Vieja lora in Cuba, Perroquet tacheté in France. more common names It is found in Salt water and its distribution is Western Atlantic [not including Brazil].
